Rev. Victor A. Galloway

Reverend Victor A Galloway is a prophetic pastor, passionate leader, social activist and educator engaged in preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ; fighting racial injustice; pursuing economic justice and empowerment in under-served communities; and, emancipating the disenfranchised. Currently, Reverend Galloway faithfully serves as Pastor at First Baptist Church New Hill (FBCNH) in New Hill, North Carolina. During his tenure at First Baptist Church New Hill, Rev Galloway has led the creation of the new member’s orientation classes and the development of church leadership workshops. He provides spiritual guidance and support to the church’s membership, ministerial staff, deacons, trustees and ministry chairpersons. Prior to answering the pastoral call at FBCNH, Reverend Galloway faithfully served for 20 years as Chief Assistant Pastor at New Providence Missionary Baptist Church in Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina under the leadership of Pastor Rev. Dr. Nathaniel J. Wood.  At New Providence he was licensed to the ministry and ordained by the Wake Missionary Baptist Association, Inc. of the North Carolina General Baptist State Convention.  With the assistance of the Holy Spirit and via preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ, he helped hundreds of individuals give their life to Christ.

 

Rev. Galloway also serves as an Executive Coach and Spiritual Advisor to executives and faith leaders nationally. He collaborates globally with agencies on issues relating to civil rights, consumer protection, economic inclusion, community development and public policies. He is an expert facilitator and visionary in Executive Leadership Development and Strategic Intelligence. He has served as an advisor to Senior White House Staff, members of Congress, state legislators and other officials on matters related to economic inclusion for the under-served.  

 

He is a graduate of North Carolina State University’s College of Design and has earned several certificates in Biblical Studies, Theology and Christian Doctrine. He has completed Executive Education Leadership programs from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School, The Fuqua Business School at Duke University and the Center for Creative Leadership in Greensboro. He is currently pursuing an advanced degree in theology.

 

He is married to the former Audrey L. Leach.  They have one son, Victor A. Galloway II.

 

Rev. Galloway’s purpose in life is to preach and teach the Word of God and he envisions building a biblical community of loving believers which has a personal relationship with God and each other, modeling the pattern of lifestyle of Jesus Christ.
